Prevent Stockfish from exiting if DTZ table is not present 

 During TB initialisation, Stockfish checks for the presence of WDL tables but not for the presence of DTZ tables. When attempting to probe a DTZ table, it is therefore possible that the table is not present. 
In that case, Stockfish should neither exit nor report an error. 

 To verify the bug: 
$ ./stockfish 
setoption name SyzygyTable value <path_to_WDL_dir> 
position fen 8/8/4r3/4k3/8/1K2P3/3P4/6R1 w - - 
go infinite 
Could not mmap() /opt/tb/regular/KRPPvKR.rtbz

 (On my system, the WDL tables are in one directory and the DTZ tables 
in another. If they are in the same directory, it will be difficult 
to trigger the bug.) 

 The fix is trivial: check the file descriptor/handle after opening the file. 

 No functional change.

Chess engine: SF 16.1 MPV

Author, Eduard Nemeth: This engine is better suited for analysis than the current newer developer versions. The following version is maybe even better. I implemented the network with Dimension 3072 as well as the Random Op. MultiPV mode. Other features include Minimum Thinking Time and Slow Mover. As default is Random Op. MultiPV = 3. I consider this setting to be the best for tactical analysis. With Random Op. MultiPV = 1 the engine behaves like Stockfish 16.1 with network dimension 3072. The Chess Engines Diary League - edition 2/2024 has ended

  The  Chess Engines Diary League  - edition 2/2024 has ended. In this edition, we tested a total of  198 chess engines . TOP 64 in four leagues, and 134 amateur (or new) engines in two qualifying tournaments played using the Swiss system.  The best in the 02/2024 edition was the  SugaR Al SE   engine. The next edition of the chess engine league 03/2024 will start in April after Easter.
